By the end of the 90s this sporty wrap around look had fully transitioned it's way out of the sports realm and into fashion. These are an good example as they retain the aerodynamic close fitting shape and relatively lightweight materials from the sport influence but upgraded for fashion purposes with a plain matt black finish and bright green background that creates an outline edge from the front view.
