Here's a good example of when the sports shield visor idea crossed over into mainstream fashion in the 90s and then once the millennium came designers modified this into their ideas of what the new space age would bring. The main feature here is that they have extra light tone lenses with an extremely faint mirror glaze which means they can be worn indoors as a pure fashion accessory instead of just for sun shade.
They wrap around and sit very close to the face like a visor and have a flavour of the super hero shield as a result.
They could be suitable for a relatively small face.
