The early 80s was a bit confused with the demise of punk and disco and guitar music as the basic standard. This led to a mash up called New Wave and it drew in influence from wherever it could. That included 50s rock n roll aesthetic on another rotation but modified for the next generation into a hyper real appearance exemplified by these sunglasses and this was in line with the emergence of psychobillies. They have a distinct feeling of 1950s animated advert poster art but brought into real life like a jessica rabbit.
Thay have a red rubber front that was very innovative at that time with gloss arms.
Slightly used in excellent condition. The left arm can move slightly too wide but obviously it doesn't when you're wearing it.
