Made in the early 80s when the oversized 70s look had fallen out of favour but in fact these are still in keeping with that 70s flair except they are shrunken down to very normal dimensions whilst retaining the features of previous excesses with their Y forked temple joints, crystal frame and flashes of red patterns on the front. This particular look came to be dominated by Cazal eventually but plenty of major league brands such as Valentino had their own perspective on this genre and these are a perfect example.
