The Japanese have become more concerned with the cult of the abstruse, that they have lost sight of all else. In this case the logo has been made unreadable and so these mysterious sunglasses have reached a place that obscurity was not really meant to go but did. However they have maintained a standard of quality and stylishness that sets them apart from pretty much everything in our entire shop. They're a genuine trailblazer that is not quite a cat eye nor a exactly a bug eye, but could only be described as more like a praying mantis in appearance. We cannot guess at how many different types of sunglasses we have handled in 35 years, but this pair certainly has a unique style of it's own.

NOS in very good condition.

We have made an AI-generated model image to complement our standard product photography for customers who find mannequin images less helpful when judging how a frame may look in use. It is intended as an artistic visualisation rather than a literal depiction, which creates a context, feeling and atmosphere that we consider useful, imaginative and possibly inspiring for genuine vintage lovers. The eyewear itself is the genuine item being offered for sale and the image is helpful for indicating a good sense of the dimensions. All subsequent pictures are an accurate representation of the product. Moreover, you must use our measurements to verify the size is correct for you.
