Oliver Peoples came up with a compelling balance with this Maceo model. On some realistic level that balance is exactly what all successful brands brands are trying to achieve all the time but usually failing. That is; to make something that will never fall out of fashion and become dated or embarrassing, but at the same time is not overly derivative or vintagey looking. That has an inherently cool atmosphere, but is not attention seeking. That has a standard of quality { which is visually apparent } but without showing cheesy logos to underline the point. And finally, that can ultimately justify the significant amounts they're charging for the brand on it's own merits as opposed to paying whichever famed actor of the moment to advertise it. And that is an extremely rare and delicate balancing act to get right. There's also no mistaking that this pair has a definite sense of masculinity that has become ever more elusive in this age of advanced gender confusion.

The lenses have a superior quality that immediately sharpens things up.

Used and pre owned in very good overall condition. There are some small marks at the ends of the arms but nothing onerous.

This model is not generally available but is certainly in the 400 dollar range in new condition.
