Everyone in our line of work is clamouring to abuse the term iconic, even when they dig up some old cabbage patch doll. We don't. But occasionally we need to draw attention to something than has had a significant influence on putting a company on the map of public consciousness. Even brands that are extremely well established in their reputation, when it comes to drafting their company bio they end up having to refer to quite specific icons they created. Such is definitely the case with this moschino belt which was made before the era of craos spell out logos. How do we justify these claims ?Because Moschino is STILL selling this belt. The one thing fashion brands know they are not really supposed to do, is remake the same thing infinitely, and yet they felt commercially forced to do so in this instance. And make no mistake, they are charging dramatically more than we are for a mass produced version that is not vintage obviously. It is certainly a fact that Moschino was riding high at the time this was made and yes, we haven't bought a license to sell Moschino so we are free to declare that the brand has never come anywhere close to achieving the status they had in the early 90s. Sorry Mosch, but we have to tell it like it is.

Made in Italy by Redwall contract. Fake versions of this belt, which are numerous, do not have "Redwall made in Italy" stamped onto each individual letter on the back. Please note, only the first and last letters don't move, the others in between do move around.
