Mary Quant is one of those brands that is as solidified within the popular imaginations perception of the 1960s as the moon landing is. In that sense, to find any original item from her company from that period is practically a piece of social history in it's own terms. This is partly because sunglasses were not a focus of the company and were produced in small quantities. The frame top sits way above the eyebrow line so that the eyes are kept within the centre of the frame which is feature that's particular to this era and has not been replicated by imitations of this look in general.
Used and pre owned in good condition. There are surface marks on the lenses {which is unsurprising given how much someone must've loved wearing them} but nothing significant. They would've been an everyday fashion item at the time and are not supreme acetate quality and if they were we would would certainly be charging twice this amount.
