This alluring modification of a 70s form by Jens Laugesen was one of the highlights of his collab with Linda Farrow for this capsule project. The Linda Farrow company has forged it's niche via a persistent programme of collaborations with professional designers who are very good at what they do. They include Jeremy Scott, Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim, Dries Van Noten, Erdem, Matthew Williamson, The Row, Opening Ceremony, Luella etc etc. This model has channelled the essence of sexy oversized designs of the late 70s but updated it with metal bars on the bridge and arms which undulate over the ear. But the main selling point is the sensational smoky lenses which really do justify the £480 price these commanded when they were first released.
