One of Gianfranco Ferre's contributions to the 90s eyewear fashion landscape that was certainly more in touch with what was on the cutting edge of the mood on the street at that time. This particular pared down quirky tech look that had a slightly industrial feeling was of course led by Jean Paul Gaultier. But the Italians were not taking that lying down and this vivid design with it's curious hinge joint feature and black covering was Ferres weapon of choice in that duel. But ultimately the selling point is how fresh these glasses look once again for the 2020s. They strike a clever and accurate balance of having a definite fashion consciousness but at the same time maintaining a fairly serious atmosphere and we would probably want to argue, that is the exact qualities that you should be looking for with glasses for everyday use that will form a considerable part of your first impression on every new person you meet.
