* Notes: Superior boutique brand Francois Pinton is not known for supporting mediocrity, and this was certainly the case when they were cementing their reputation in the 90s with dramatic designs like this. They have taken the cat eye format to a previously unknown destination with this low profile form that protrudes at the sides, has clear acetate with a murky green and brown marbled front layer and extraordinary waved arms. On some level it assumes the position enjoyed by the 80s wunderkund Alain Mikli who subsequently lost his way in the 90s.
