Pared down minimalistic styling on this pair as you might expect from the 90s. In this case with understated branding These are a great example of the quirky deliberately undersized look that was one of the big trends in the early 90s. So was the influence of industrial tech vibes and these glasses portray a more intellectual version of that idea as they have similar dimensions to Victorian spectacles and have an unavoidably inscrutable stylish appearance that I could say, would take steampunk to where it should have gone instead of where it did. Personally I am not crazy about DKNY as a brand, but these glasses have a definite sense of providing a genuine alternative and different direction for their design aesthetic of that moment and I would suggest the fact there is no overt logo to see supports that idea.
