Christian Dior 80s vintage rectangular eye glasses made in Germany from Optyl. Striking marbled amber acetate optical frame. Prescription RX.
Ideal for someone who wants the atmosphere of Diors other larger than life designs of the 70s { and of course we have a perfect example of one in the shop at present } but in a medium sized set of dimensions. It features the Y forked sides that were the flag bearing symbol of recognition for Dior in this period which on some level, set the example for the very concept of aggressive brand promotion. and there's no doubt it played a major part in clobbering the competition. In this case they have tiny protruding studs on the arms.
The front is made from the characteristic Optyl material that was a hypo allergenic innovation ahead of it's time.
Used and pre owned in excellent condition.
The print on the inside of the arms is worn away in places.
Comes with prescription lenses which must be replaced with your own prescription.
