Obviously better known for their alluring adverts for bags that cost more than a normal person earns in a month. It would be remiss not to state that there are plenty of brands in the eyewear realm that charge what Veneta does but their quality\finish is not on the same level. And this is important in the context where you cannot hold the product in your hand. This fact is borne out by the company making the decision to pay the extra cost to produce their eyewear in Japan. They expect the customer to understand they are dealing with the best. The production standard in Italy is great, but it's just not in the same league. Considering this is a proud Italian Company ( which is even named after a region there ) you can be assured that was not a decision taken lightly.
