These humble sunglasses have quite a history so far, starting from an idea born during the explosion of 60s mod futurism and flower power creativity, re enlivened in the 80s by the offspring of those pioneers (which is the case with this 80s pair ), and again in the 90s on kamikaze grunge genius Kurt Cobain and more recently Denzel Curry's clout goggles which led to a full scale mainstream trend within the last few years and the inevitable re issue of the Christian Roth pair along with copycat models by Acne studios, Alain Mikli and plenty of others.
This version was made in the early 90s but is more in keeping with the original 60s format that's oversized and futuristic with it's check monochrome pattern that is the typical design you would see on the cover of a book about 60s eyewear.
Full UV protection.
Unused NOS in excellent condition. Some very faint surface marks on the lenses. They are not significant at all but these days we cannot be too careful when people are looking for faults to try and claim stuff for free.
The inner side is plain white.
• frame width (outside widest point): 148mm
