We are not a Chinese factory operation, cleverly pretending to be a vintage boutique. We are a vintage boutique. So having half a dozen good reviews for a specific item is fairly unusual { instead of 500 reviews on Amazon for instance, and yes we know that's a bit sad but its one of the drawbacks of selling vintage}. There's 2 reasons why these glasses have unusually good reviews. 1 They were made in Italy by a company that is very good at what they do. Tragically for us it does not say 'Made in Italy' on the frame itself so I cannot say so directly in the title {but I bought them from that factory and don't need to doubt my orienteering or geographical expertise} if it did then we would charge what they are actually worth, £65. The second reason is because the buyers probably didn't have any major expectations for this kind of money and were pleasantly surprised once they saw them in hand. And I don't believe that's my interpretation as a salesman, the reviews pretty much say so.

Taking their cue from well established designs from the 1960s with their slightly thickened frame but updated in typical 90s fashion with low profile dimensions and the essential matt finish of that time.

Overall they have a feeling of freshness for the 2020s context that is immediately apparent when you try them on.

Putting these into true perspective, these are £65 quality by todays production standards, at the very least. We are selling them for one third that amount, and we do believe the reviews underneath the listing are indirectly verifying this in their own different ways.
