These are as accurate an example of what regular people were actually wearing in the 90s despite what many bloggers who weren't born at the time would have you believe. They have that element of 1960s thick frame aesthetic but compacted down into 90s proportions. They appear to look black but when seen closely the front of the frame actually has lighter red patterns that appear like a dried out river bed.
