Dayglo was a big innovative trend in the 80s as people had never seen this hyper real slightly fluorescent type of finish and it found it's way into all categories of fashion. Certainly no sincere punk, even the ones arriving late on the scene in the 80s, would've worn dayglo with their studs so this belt was a pure fashion mash up of it's time. The buckle can be removed and changed.
The height is still ok to fit inside regular belt loops. But we have put it on a dress to show it can be worn with the buckle at the back for entirely decorative feature purposes. Bear in mind where the fastening would sit on you to balance where the studs will be beginning on either side
