Ideal for the customer who wants a piece that no one else could find no matter how much money or time they spent trying. Made in Italy by obscure boutique brand LS Optical, rest assured, they were made to the same production standards as any household name brand that was produced in the same factory. Needless to say having a brand concept called Pop 84 was never a concept that would last for long but is especially handy for vintage eyewear sellers to pinpoint when they were made. They have the characteristic satin finish that was an innovation at the time which became a craze in the 80s and is particular to that era. And so was the inspiration from earlier 20thC designs which is why they have slender tortoise arms and ornate stamped patterns on the bridge and corners. Ideal for someone in search of something relatively conservative but that also could never be mistaken for anything that's available on Amazon.
