These sunglasses have quite a history, starting from an idea born during the explosion of 60s mod futurism and flower power creativity, re enlivened in the 80s by the offspring of those pioneers (which is the case with this pair ), and again in the 90s on kamikaze grunge genius Kurt Cobain and more recently Denzel Curry's clout goggles which led to a full scale mainstream trend within the last few years and the inevitable re issue of the Christian Roth pair along with copycat models by Acne studios, Alain Mikli and plenty of others.

This version is in keeping with the original 60s format but in fact the dimensions are fairly normal. These are the correct choice if you want this 60s definitive look but cannot justify paying 4 or 5 times this amount for those originals and that's certainly what we charge when we occasionally find them.

Unused NOS in good condition except for a crazing patch on the left lens. It is just under the main field of vision. It is not overly imposing but may not suit a pernickety type of person. This is the final pair with a brown lens. We still have the green lens version but this pair will never be re stocked.
