If you were trying to define 80s sunglasses, 2 of the criteria would be dayglo and a wayfarer shape. As the humble wayfarer exploded into the mainstream, new ways to freshen it up were demanded and it seemed only natural to combine the craze for fluorescent dayglo plus rubbery nylon matt finish into the mix. 35 years on, it feels fresh once again.
