In this case the amount of labour time in crafting this fish type buckle by hand ( which has a deliberate different gold tone on the top half and silvery on the bottom. ) and having a different craftsman cut and dye the leather, ( there are small spots of dye on the back that presumably were part of the process ) surely puts some perspective on the Handmade AND vintage original manifesto of Etsy that got washed away by clever business folks making a pretty online shopfront, then sending their orders to a chinese factory. Literally.
