This unique pair add a completely new strand to the cateye format with their zig zag lightning pattern and unusual abstract shape. They surely do visually explain the early 80s new wave mash up of cultural references that was drawing on 50s influences and more, and this would've been caused by exactly these kind of sunglasses that have a significant dose of 1950s space age optimism.

Good overall used condition.

Lenses in surprisingly good condition with no scratches.

Frame is straight and level.

Please note that the smaller your face is the better they will look. The bridge is fairly narrow so they will sit high up on the nose.

• frame width (outside widest point): 131mm

• frame height: 44mm

• bridge width: 16mm

• inside hinge to hinge: 124mm

We have made an AI-generated model image to complement our standard product photography for customers who find mannequin images less helpful when judging how a frame may look in use. It is intended as an artistic visualisation rather than a literal depiction, which creates a context, feeling and atmosphere that we consider useful, imaginative and possibly inspiring for genuine vintage lovers. The eyewear itself is the genuine item being offered for sale and the image is helpful for indicating a good sense of the dimensions. All subsequent pictures are an accurate representation of the product. Moreover, you must use our measurements to verify the size is correct for you.
